We're moving, and that explains why my posts are infrequent and boring...

I'm going to give you the short version of my chaotic (and yet terrrrrrific) life.

One day this fall the Mr. decided we should sell our house and move into something smaller to save a little money while we wait on a bigger house - and a good deal - to come along. Our children will not stop growing.

So that's what we did. And that's what we're doing.
And wow, what a mess it is right now in my house.

And with that, my calendar got very busy trying to collect boxes, categorize all our junk stuff as STORAGE or HOUSE, and carefully mark all the boxes for easy identification. (Oh, and keep some sense of normalcy in the house for the kids who come home everyday to an emptier house.)

I hate moving.
I like knowing this is the right decision for our little family.
I'd like it more if I didn't have to pack.
Plinking around on my computer doesn't make the Top 10 Things To Do on most days. Maybe next week?

Nothing to do today? Come on over. B.Y.O.Box

Anyone actually like to pack? (Not trying to recruit you, seriously - just wondering if anyone really thinks this part is fun?)

Anyone still with me? Ugh. I'm pretty e-boring these days... :)

I'm still here. I am die hard. LOL Just Kidding. If I was there I would help you pack. My mom made us move every 2 years for no good reason. Most of the time we never left the same county.

I think you and the Mr. made an informed decision and you are so orgaanized...It will be fine!

I HATE moving. My friend Sarah has a passion for packing. I like to think that letting her help me is a little present I give her. Because I'm a giver.
I hope you find a lover of packing among your local girlfriends. They make short work of big jobs.

I've been there very recently and feel your pain. Though I though packing was as irritating as unpacking and trying to find a new place to put all the things that used to fit perfectly in the old house.

I don't enjoy packing, but I am quite talented at it. I am a pro mover.

And my blog is sparse lately too. Mainly becuase life is so boring it's given me writer's block.

I'll continue reading. Oh, and I hate packing, that's why I really don't ever want to move again in my lifetime.

One good thing about moving is that it forces a person to go through their stuff and get rid of things they don't feel like dragging to a new house. At least that's what it did for us.
I feel your pain though, we're going to move out of our rental in another 6 months.
